Lab Results Gallery

Pie charts and bar graphs communicate information quickly and easily, and with Chart, students can record, compare, and display

  • simple lab experiment results in introductory science courses,
  • survey data from existing or original instruments, or
  • researched components of a whole.

Our example here is of temperature measurements in a simple experiment. When students conduct the same experiment and share their individual results, the next step is to aggregate the group's data and calculate mean findings for statistical analysis. Recommended for simple observations or data presentation, especially if students may not yet be proficient in more complicated data tools of the discipline.
